okay. i'm in. i'm in!

as i'm writing this, fragments of language seep through the TiltFactor lab - that is up and running!
"see, this is what happens - i'm pumped up, i come over, and then ... he runs away!" ... "it took me a while to figure out that i could just turn around and run... until then i died so many times!" after an hour and a half of playing - warhammer's server was down this afternoon - i meleed, died three times, respawned after each death, turned around and ran, threw daggers and i met humans without really meeting them.
my character, Arnyek, eventually spontaneously walked into the ocean and i found out we could swim!
that just made my day. not only did i find a good name for her [i got lots of positive feedback] but i also like her. she is strong and dark and she will be fun to explore and learn.
at first my fingers were awkward and i was totally distracted by all that was going on. it's been so long since i played.. luckily, people were around to help and gave me advice and it was great not to feel awkward about having no idea what i was doing, really.
in the end Anna interviewed me and i found myself wired up.. my expectations are still kind of the same: i want to learn from this game - have a better understanding of why this game is popular, whether i will want to play more than what i have time for, whether my thinking will be shaped by the premises... how quickly will i learn, etc.
it's fun to be in the MMORPG group
i started playing at 6PM [maybe a little earlier] and finished around 7:30PM
[i lost track of time - but did not feel dizz]

o: Arnyek is a witch elf & her name comes from the hungarian word for 'shadow'
