#$&%!

well, i am in thayer right now and i can't figure out how to log on... i get an error message saying that interactive logons are not allowed from my account.

this is the first time in a week and a half that i've actually had time to play, and i can't log on.  i am incredibly annoyed.

i think i might go over to sudikoff, or just play tomorrow night.

However I have made one interesting discovery.  I feel like I want to play SO MUCH MORE because I'm not able to.  Earlier this week I haven't really had the time to play, but I also haven't really wanted to play either.  Today I didn't have anything else to do, so I meandered over to Thayer.  Now I'm here, not able to play, and really really pissed off.  I guess this would be an early level of addiction?  I'm certainly not fully addicted, because I haven't felt very many urges to play at all.

Something to think about.

I can definitely agree with what Joe's comment that gaming is way more enticing when you're unable to play. Since I was the last one to get a character, I spent a few nights just watch other people try out there characters. When I was only able to watch other people play, it made me jealous and anxious to finally get my character. Especially frustrating was not being able to customize other people's characters. For example, I remember watching Anna play, seeing her gain a new spell, and then being really frustrated when her character wasn't using that spell. Now that I have my own character, it really hasn't held my interest as strongly as it did before, and I put very little time, effort, or thought into customizing him.

That's really interesting, because I'm the opposite. I feel like the reason I haven't become addicted already is that I have to go through a whole process in order to start playing -- including having trouble getting into the building, or signing on, etc. If I could just play in my room, I'd probably be playing nonstop. Oddly enough, I can't seem to make myself uninstall WoW on my own computer in order to add Warhammer either, so I don't know what that means....
